MyMoneyPA has been created so that you can input as much or as little personal data to suit your needs and personal requirements. This means that your Money Diary may only contain one item or the optional Money Planner one entry. It has been designed to be flexible to meet individual needs whilst being capable of being used in a very detailed and personal way.
The Money Diary feature in MyMoneyPA provides you with an easy way to manage reminder and renewal dates relating to household contracts, events, personal activities, birthdays, anniversaries, in fact anything that you would like to remember and be reminded about. As it's available on your PC, Laptop or mobile device you can use it anywhere, perhaps when something comes to mind that you don’t want to forget and you need to capture it. (But please be careful of protecting your sign in details if you use it in a public place).
When you enter detail in your Money Diary you set up an email Reminder that will be sent to an email address of your choice when you want it. How you action the reminder is up to you but it will link you to a panel of Product Providers that have come out top of research done by independent research companies and have a rating provided by fellow customers. You may choose a Provider when the reminder is sent to you or you may conduct your own research before making a decision. The site can be used in conjunction with other sites such as comparison sites where the best deals are compared but a good use use of MyMoneyPA will be to verify the best providers. Comparison sites work purely on price whereas the providers in the MyMoneyPA panel may have other criteria as well such as customer service, value of money, etc. Also remember that typically comparison sites do not cover the whole of the market.
The Money Planner is a flexible feature that can assist in managing individual budgets or household budgets for example a family or people sharing accommodation. It can be used in conjunction with the Money Diary or just standalone.
The Rating feature allows you to pass judgment on a provider, whether good or bad, and your feedback along with others is combined into a star rating. Your comments and views on product providers assist others when making purchasing decisions.
